Salt air, sun and blonde
If you live on or near the water, your hair is taking more UV and salt than it would three miles inland, and lightened hair takes it hardest. Blonde that looked right in April can read brassy by July. Pool copper and green cast
Green in blonde hair is copper from pool water, not a toner failure. It needs a chelating treatment to remove the mineral before any tonal correction will hold. If you swim regularly, we build that into your maintenance plan rather than treating it as an emergency each summer.

The color itself
We color with Artègo, a professional European ammonia-free line formulated with up to 99% organic and natural ingredients depending on the service and the specific formula — several of those formulas carry ECOCERT and COSMOS Organic certification. It is what we mix for permanent color, gray coverage, gloss, toner and root work.
The lightener is ammonia-free as well, which is the part most salons cannot say. Ours is made with kukui nut butter and lavender — the kukui holds moisture in the hair while it lifts, so it comes out silkier than lightener usually does. That means a highlight, balayage or blonding appointment here is ammonia-free from start to finish.
