Meet Nancy.
The short version
Nancy Irizarry has been colouring hair for over forty years. She is Vidal Sassoon certified, trained at Frédéric Fekkai, and has owned Touchée Organic Salon on US-1 in Juno Beach since 2004. She formulates and places every colour herself, handles 30+ corrections a year, and writes your formula down so it repeats. Clients travel from Palm Beach Gardens, Jupiter and North Palm Beach to sit in her chair.
Forty years is long enough to stop guessing.
Nancy trained at Frédéric Fekkai and is Vidal Sassoon certified — a cutting education that shows up in how she reads a head of hair before she reaches for anything. She opened Touchée on US Highway 1 in 2004 and has been in the same chair since.
What she actually does
She formulates and places every colour herself. Not a colourist who supervises — the person mixing the bowl is the person who decided what goes in it, and the person who will see you again in six weeks.
The specialty is colour correction: box dye, banding, brass, somebody else's plan. Thirty-plus cases a year. It is the work most salons quietly decline, and it is the reason people drive here from three towns over.

The written formula
Every colour she creates is written down and carried forward. Your shade, your ratios, your timing, the areas that resist. It is the least glamorous thing this salon does and the one clients mention most.
It means your colour repeats. It means a good result is not an accident you hope recurs. And it means the conversation in the chair starts from what happened last time rather than from scratch.
She will tell you when the answer is no
She stops the lightening when hair has had enough. She will say a blonde needs two visits rather than force it into one. She will tell you a shade will not hold on your hair before she puts it there, not after.

Six chairs, not thirty
Touchée is a small salon on purpose. You are not handed between stations and you are not shouted over. Nancy has assistants who wash, apply and finish, but the colour decisions are hers, start to end.
Coffee is real, and Cuban, and she makes it herself.
