TOUCHÉE’S EDIT / ART + CULTURE / PALM BEACH GARDENS

There is more art in the Gardens than you think

Some of the most interesting art in Palm Beach Gardens is hanging where you would not expect to find it.

There is more art in the Gardens than you think — Touchée’s Edit

Palm Beach Gardens has quietly been running GardensArt since 1989.

Rather than keeping everything inside one formal gallery, the city rotates exhibitions through public spaces including City Hall, the Burns Road Community Center, the Tennis & Pickleball Center and the Sandhill Crane Golf Clubhouse.

Exhibitions usually stay up for a few months at a time, and the city says the exhibits and receptions are free and open to the public.

It is a very different kind of art afternoon. No museum plan required. You might be going to City Hall, tennis or the community center and discover there is an actual exhibition happening around you.

On the walls now — August 2026

At the Tennis & Pickleball Center, Maya White’s Tides of Green opened August 21 and is scheduled through November 30, with acrylic paintings.

At the Sandhill Crane Golf Clubhouse, Lori Royce’s coastal-painting exhibition Heavenly Horizons runs through August 25. Dr. Helga Jensen-Ruopp’s acrylic work is scheduled to follow from August 26 through October 20.

At City Hall, Judy Gaggero’s IMAGINATURE runs through August 26. Clifton G. Webb’s watercolor, acrylic and laser-print work takes over August 27 through October 16.

At Burns Road Community Center, Christin Paige Minnotte’s fine-art photography exhibition Unbreaking Symmetry runs through August 27, followed by more work from Judy Gaggero beginning August 28.

Why it is on the Edit

Because this is exactly the kind of local thing that is easy to miss.

Palm Beach Gardens is not usually the first place people name when they talk about an art afternoon, yet there is a rotating program bringing professional artists into spaces people already use.

It is worth knowing what is hanging around town before assuming you need to drive somewhere else to see something interesting.
