How much does hair
color correction cost?
At Touchée it is $160 per hour with a $250 minimum, and a consultation is required before it is scheduled. There is no single fixed total, and any salon quoting you one without seeing your hair is guessing.

Why it is priced by the hour
A standard color appointment has a known shape. Correction does not. What has to come out of the hair governs everything — how many steps, how much product, how many hours, and sometimes how many visits.
Two people can walk in with hair that looks equally dark and need completely different corrections, because what is layered underneath is different. Pricing by time is the only honest way to charge for work whose scope is discovered as it happens.
What moves the number
How many previous colors are present, and how much artificial pigment has to be removed. Length and density. Texture and porosity. Previous highlights or lightening. The condition the hair is currently in. How far the result you want sits from where the hair starts. And whether the correction should be completed in one appointment or staged across more than one.
What real corrections have cost in time
Documented cases from this salon: banded blue-black and navy taken to an even Level 6 brown — about four hours, one appointment. DIY orange, red and brown cleaned and rebalanced, then highlighted golden blonde — about four hours, one appointment. Level 2 black with gray growth and brassy ends taken toward a sun-kissed light brown — about five hours, one appointment.
You can read all three in full, with what Nancy found and how she decided, in Hair Crimes.
Why the consultation comes first
Partly so we can quote honestly. Partly because you may not need a correction at all.
Brassiness is often solved with a toner. A slightly wrong root may just need adjusting. Faded color may only want a gloss at $65. Some changes are handled inside a standard highlight or color service at a fraction of corrective pricing. Finding that out costs you thirty minutes and saves you hours.
What we will not do
Quote a total over the phone for hair we have not seen. Start a correction we do not believe can be finished safely. Or take hair further in one sitting than it should responsibly go, just because that was the plan when you sat down. The goal is not how much can be done to the hair — it is how much should be.

Questions
How much does color correction cost in Juno Beach?
$160 per hour with a $250 minimum service total, consultation required. Most corrections we document run four to five hours in a single appointment. More complex cases need several appointments and occasionally work spanning multiple days.
Why can't you give me a fixed price?
Because the scope is discovered during the work. As artificial pigment is removed, the hair reveals underlying warmth that was not visible beforehand, and how each section responds changes the plan. A fixed quote before seeing the hair would either overcharge you or run out halfway.
Is there a minimum charge?
Yes, $250. That covers the shortest realistic corrective service. The consultation itself is booked separately as a 30-minute appointment so we can assess before committing you to anything.
Will it take more than one appointment?
Sometimes. Complex corrections may need time between chemical services, several stages of removal and refinement, or in some cases work spanning multiple days. We will tell you which at consultation rather than discovering it three hours in.
Is correction more expensive than just getting highlights?
Usually yes, and that is the point of the consultation. If your hair can reach the result through a standard highlight or color service, that is what we will book you for — it is faster and cheaper for you.
